This program is designed based the QMS management concept of Continual Improvement. The aim is to move safety into a domain of continual improvement.

Behavior-Based Safety
The exercise of incident collection allows the data to be analyzed over any period. The analysis is based on a web triggered Pie Chart to indicate the percentage occurrence of the types of incidences. The highest occurring incidence can be reduced through an improvement action, which can be check-listed on the handheld.

Management Control

Putting Control into Permitting
The handheld program is designed to enable the activities selected for lock out tag out, confined space and hot work including the person, the time and the conditions to move to the next step. If these conditions or the persons do not satisfy the set criteria, the handheld pops up a dialog box to advise the user that the set parameters were not met. Thus control is executed.

Preventive
A checklist of preventive activities can be facilitated. The execution of the activities when a bar code is scanned, adds control. Control that it is correct location, control that the handheld user is at the location to execute the preventive activities. Further control is still executed, when an overdue list is auto-generated.
