Safety Management System
- This cloud program is a repository for plans for managing an organization's Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) requirements. It delivers the plans to handhelds via GPRS and stores the resultant records.
- The plans are derived from the respective assessed risks on the application of the Hierarchy of Controls to arrive at the mitigation tasks to protect assets, persons, earth, water and air. National, local laws and prescribed practices are supported either as standalone activities or within a systematic management process.
- The management process structure is governed by the integration of International (ISO 14001) and National (ANSI Z 10 / OSHAS 18001) Management Standards. The Level 1 document is provided free, so that this electronic system manages compliance to laws and Standards for organizations.
- Non-conformances are managed electronically within the system through corrective actions. This enables an improvement towards the elimination of incidents, to meet the intended outcomes of the Plan.
- The handheld, consisting of two programs SHECA and SHECklist, is an error-proofing device for providing assurances of the plan's accurate delivery at the point of application, with appropriate accountability.
